It is with great sadness that on November 2, 2011, Megan Burke passed away at the age of 32. On this day, we all lost a beautiful woman who impacted each of us in her own special way. Her unexpected death has left us all filled with an emptiness and pain that is immeasurable. We would have all wished for one last moment with Megan…an opportunity to hold her, remind her how much we loved her and just to touch her soft ivory skin which was flawless. During this difficult time, let us all reflect on what drew us so near to Megan as she had many extraordinary attributes. Megan was born on March 23, 1979 in Northridge, CA to her beloved parents, Joanne and Jim Grant. She was the youngest of two children. Megan graduated from the University of Southern California in 2001 with an emphasis in Finance. It was there that Megan met Kasey Burke who would soon be her charming, witty and loving husband. Upon graduation, she worked for Bear Stearns and then held a prestigious position at Llyod Greif & Co. She married Kasey and welcomed two precious children Peyton now 4 and Dylan 10 months. Megan was a beautiful person and we are reminded of her beauty daily in Peyton and Dylan. She gave us all the gift of her children in their smiles, laughter and the incredible personalities that are showcased constantly. Her memory will never be extinguished from our hearts.
